It all started with a disease, as most world catastrophes do, and soon there were almost no kids left. The disease affected kids and the few kids that did survive were left with extraordinary powers. Ruby’s life was turned upside down on her tenth birthday. That’s when she changed and got her powers. Unfortunately, Ruby was discovered by others before she could even discover herself. Scared and alone, Ruby was locked away inside a “rehabilitation” camp for 6 years. When she finally escapes the horrible prison, she finds that the outside world is not the same. Adults are afraid of kids and kids have deadly powers. Ruby has to learn that in this new world, nobody is who they say they are.
