LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT

LIBRARY NEWS
The Library's Summer Reading Program (SRP) wrapped up on July 31st.  Katy Hanousek is notifying winners of the SRP prize baskets this week.  The SRP StoryWalk was a huge hit with our community members, thanks to the hard work of Katy & volunteer Ian Pahman.  The family of Delores Zornow made a generous memorial donation which will be used to enhance our Large Print Adult Fiction collection.  The Lake Wisconsin Lions also made a generous donation in July.  Delivery was re-evaluated by SCLS after new quarantine data was received.  We are now receiving the delivery of patron holds on Tuesdays & Fridays only.  Curbside Service began to slow down in popularity, however, the patrons that utilize it are thankful we continue to offer that service.  There were 73 Curbside pick-up appointments scheduled by patrons from 07/01 to 07/31.  Mr. Mueller replaced the Office lighting with LED bulbs.  Jodi Bailey continues to work with the Village Administrator on COVID-19 "Routes to Recovery" grant funding & the 2021 Budget.  The 2021 Library Budget Subcommittee held it's first meeting on July 29th.
