LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT
13-Feb-18

LIRARY NEWS
The Poynette Library is very excited to continue to create new partnerships and strengthen existing ones as we move into 2018. In January, we showcased artwork of 'altered books' brought to the library by 8th grade students and co-hosted an artist reception with Anne Crawford, Poynette art teacher. Lindsey Ganz presented to Poynette elementary and middle school staff to talk about library services, databases and to distribute fine free library card applications. Lindsey also presented to AP US History students on January 16 and 17 to show them how to search for resources. We also began the first winter reading program at Pioneer Place apartments. We will bring a selection of books every Tuesday during the program which runs from January 23 to March 20. The Poynette Library was featured in an article about internet access and the Winter Carnival.
