LIBRARY NEWS
There were 45 Curbside pick-up appointments scheduled by patrons from Jan. 1-29.  The Library was closed due to inclement weather on Jan. 26th.  Jodi Bailey has been in contact with High Country Electric regarding an estimate to replace the Library's current fluorescent light bulbs with our newly purchased LED bulbs.  Jodi continued working on the ALA grant and 2020 DPI Annual Report.  Jodi hired Kelly Anderson as a part-time employee beginning Tuesday, January 26th.  She has a wealth of literacy knowledge and has been a long-standing Library & community supporter.  We are so excited to welcome Kelly to our Library family!

2021 PROGRAMS
Storytime on the Go and the Story Windows programs continued to be popular in January.  Katy Hanousek provided support to patrons by frequently updating and monitoring the library's website and FaceBook page.  We concluded our Winter Reading Program (WRP) on Jan. 31st.  Ten lucky prize winners received a new Poynette Library canvas tote filled with a local gift card & treats that supported local Poynette businesses!  NOTE: 84 patrons registered for the WRP, which was the highest participation to date after 6 years of running this program.  Katy created a Soup-er Bowl contest and 6 participants brought generous donations for the Poynette Food Pantry.  One patron won a Soup-er Bowl prize basket filled with football "Game Day" treats!  The Snowman Photo Contest was held on Jan. 18th and 15 participants won a new Poynette Library canvas tote containing hot chocolate & marshmallows!
