LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT
10-Jan-17

Library News
The Poynette Area Public Library closed when the School district of Poynette closed due to inclement weather on the afternoon of December 16th and January 3rd per the library closing policy. Director Lindsey Ganz and Library Board President Jeanne Mutchler decided to close on Saturday, December 17th due to the snow storm. Everything sold at the Friend's Cookie Canister and treat sale in December. The Library was closed from December 23rd through December 26th and on January 2nd for the holidays. The carpet in the Children's Area and a spot near the adult nonfiction was cleaned by Blake of Carpet Raiders from Lodi. He also cleaned some of the rugs and furniture as needed. The memorial designated for children's items was spent on the book collection for both fiction and nonfiction and on items for the kits to encourage play and imagination.
