LIRARY NEWS
The Poynette Area Public Library received the ASRT National Library Partnership grant of $500.00 to purchase books on medical imaging and radiation therapy. The Friends of the Library had a successful bake sale and Silent Auction. Staff helped to proctor two exams for patrons in the month of December. Lindsey Ganz and Terry Thompson met with SCLS digitization specialist Tamara Ramski to discuss a digitization project in partnership with the Poynette Area Historical Society. We are excited to begin our work on this project in the spring. Lindsey Ganz is currently working with Rose Zeich from SCLS to update the look of our webpage.

CONTINUING EDUCATION/ MEETINGS
Lindsey Ganz attended the Delivery Committee meeting on December 13. Two committee members shared their experience of their ride along with Delivery. Lindsey Ganz and Terry Thompson met with Tamara at SCLS to see scanning equipment and learn about the resources available to us to begin a digitization project. The costs for the start-up fees will be covered by the South Central Library System Foundation donation. Our goal will be to have our own page on the Recollection Wisconsin website linking to our locally digitized collection.
