LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT
13-Jun-17

Library News
Katy Hanousek and Lindsey Ganz have been getting ready for summer programming. We are currently working on plans to bring library services to the Arlington Community Center on Mondays from 10 am to noon starting June 19th.  We are currently working on getting wireless access so we are able to check out books to our patrons on site. The Friends of the Library purchased magnification equipment for the library and patrons to be used at the library and circulated into homes. Becky Schutz from All 4 Designs has been working with the library to get us a quote for four shades that would be power controlled to protect furnishings and books in the library from sun damage. Lindsey Ganz met with Bob Agnew of high Country Electric to discuss electrical needs. Lindsey Ganz has been working with the Poynette Area Family Fun Festival Committee to determine how the Library can help. The Library will be assisting with the Kiddie/ Pet Parade and will also have an art activity for kids at the park. Patron PCs at the Library are now filtered.
