LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT
14-Mar-17

Library News
Columbia County Libraries each sent information to Lodi Library to be compiled for a handout for libraries and the Columbia County Library Board to promote our libraries. Books were on display for Black History Month and Valentine's. Lindsey Ganz is coordinating with staff at the School to get digitized copies of the yearbooks as part of a grant through the OCI Yearbook Program. Ganz created an erate user account with UPC and submitted the 'Letter of Agency' to SCLS. A shipment of 11 boxes of library books that didn't sell were sent to Better World Books to benefit the Friends of the Library. A replacement computer was installed to replace the catalog PC. The Library was closed on Feb. 24th due to the School closing for inclement weather. There were issues with the Internet and Wi-Fi following the storm on Sat., Feb. 25th through Tue., Feb. 28th because of power outages. The women's toilet in the bathroom was fixed by the Village as it was rocking. Tax forms and select instruction booklets are free of charge at the Library.
