LIBRARY NEWS
In April, library staff celebrated National Library Week (NLW) with many fun patron activities and a Year-in-Review video created by Katy Hanousek. The Library closed at 2:30 PM in observance of the Village's four-hour Good Friday holiday (4/15) and celebrated National Volunteers Week (April 18-22). Library staff met with Village staff to collaborate on a permanent StoryWalk proposal. The StoryWalk was approved at the May 4th Village Parks meeting and will be purchased with the remainder of the ALA grant funds.

Katy assisted patrons by frequently updating and monitoring the library's website and Facebook page. Two volunteers from the Friends of the Poynette Library delivered books to support our Pioneer Place community outreach. Katy and Kelly Anderson hosted several patron programs (listed below). There was only one curbside pick-up appointment during the month of April.
