LIBRARY DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Tuesday, May 14, 2019

LIRARY NEWS
David Kreklow was hired for the open night/ weekend library assistant position. Lynn Hanson, a member of the Poynette Area Historical Society, is assisting the Library with the digitization project. We scanned our first book about the history of Poynette and completed metadata for the digitized item. Our webpage on Recollection Wisconsin should be live by next fall. Yearbooks were sent out to OCI to be digitized. Katy Hanousek and Lindsey Ganz are currently working on a large weeding project of the children and teen nonfiction books. Some replacement and updated books have been replaced with the donation from the Friends of the Library. Public works replaced the women's toilet in the bathroom because the replacement parts weren't fixing the problem.
