LIRARY NEWS
Memorial donations are being made to the Friends of the Poynette Area Public Library in memory of Joan Roth. The carpets were professionally cleaned by Carpet Raider out of Lodi and they were able to get the stains out of the carpeting. School is back in session and the Library is already in communication with teachers on how we can support them in their classrooms for the upcoming school year.

Lindsey Ganz attended the Administrative Council meeting at SCLS on August 15. The meeting focused on discussion of how we can communicate better to all staff in SCLS libraries. Lindsey met with Emily Waring from SCLS for an annual visit to report about the Poynette Library and talk about how SCLS can support us. Lindsey met with four other Columbia County Directors in Randolph to prepare for our presentation to the County Finance Committee. Lindsey attended the Town of Dekorra Board meeting on August 13, the Town of Arlington on September 4, and the Village of Arlington on September 9 to share Poynette Library updates from the last year.
