LIBRARY NEWS
Beginning Aug 24th, the Library is now receiving the delivery of patron holds five days per week (M-F).   Jodi Bailey continues to work with the Village Administrator & the Budget Committee on the Library's 2021 Budget.  The furniture we ordered in March finally arrived on Aug. 19th.  Staff collaborated to set up some seating areas that are socially distanced, in preparation for the beginning of the school year.  We continued offering Curbside Service in August.  There were 34 Curbside pick-up appointments scheduled by patrons from 08/01 to 08/31.

PROGRAMS (CONTINUED)
The School District's Individual Summer Reading program concluded on Aug 13th.  It was a wonderful success!  Library staff was thankful for the opportunity to host two fantastic reading teachers & to support so many hard-working students!  Katy Hanousek began researching children's & teen virtual programming opportunities.  Staff is also planning to schedule some virtual Adult programs this Fall.  The Friends of the Library cancelled their Silent Auction and any other fund raisers for the remainder of 2020.
