Kid Owner by Tim Green

Ryan is just a normal kid… at least that’s what his mom tells him. Only his father knows that Ryan is next in line to owning the biggest football team in America, the Dallas Cowboys.  When the father he never knew dies, Ryan finds himself instantly in the national spotlight and in a vicious battle with his newly discovered stepmother and stepbrother over who will inherit majority interest in the NFL team.  Due to an unusual request left behind by Ryan’s dad, ownership of the Dallas Cowboys will all come down to one football game, Ryan’s middle school team vs. the best team in his league. My favorite part in this book is when Ryan realizes that if you want to win you sometimes have to put yourself second. I think people that like football and anyone that likes a good story will like this book a lot!
