One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus is a book about four high school studies who are investigated for a murder of a fellow class mate Simon. Bronwyn, Cooper, Addy, and Nate all end up in detention on the same day along with Simon. Throughout the investigation the four of them all become very close to figure out who was the real murderer and who was framing them. Students’ secrets are exposed changing their life. Will the secret that they discover uncover the real murderer? You’ll have to read to find out.

This book is realistic fiction and a murder mystery. This book is toward teenagers and young adults. It does talk about mental illness here and there.
