The Final Gambit is the third installment in the Inheritance Games series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes and continues Avery’s story from the second novel. Avery just has to survive a couple more weeks in the Hawthorne house before she becomes the richest teenager in the world, and the only thing getting her through is the support from the four Hawthorne brothers. Everything is going smoothly until someone shows up at her door needing help. She suddenly realizes there is more to be discovered about this mysterious family and the source of her riches.
Just like the rest of the books in the series this book is no less mysterious. The novel is full of surprises, secrets, betrayals, and twists and turns which keep readers on the edge of your seat. I fully believe finishing this series is worth it if you enjoyed the first two installments and want to learn more about the mysterious Hawthorne family.
