The book "I will always write back" is a true story about the perspectives of two very different pen pals. Caitlin is an American girl who is very wealthy compared to Martin who is a boy living a poor life in Zimbabwe. Caitlin and Martin were selected to be pen pals in school and continued to write for many years becoming just like family. Caitlin and her family do all that they can to make sure Martin stays in school. Martin is very grateful for even the smallest contributions such as Caitlin’s $20 from her babysitting money. Caitlin learns that the smallest things to some people can be huge to others.
