Marie Lu delivers a thrilling dystopian adventure with Legend, a fast-paced novel full of action, twists, and emotional depth.
Set in a future where the U.S. has become a militarized Republic, the story follows June, a young soldier, and Day, the country’s most wanted criminal. When their worlds collide they begin to uncover dark secrets the Republic has tried to hide.
Told from both perspectives, the story balances suspense and world-building. Perfect for fans of The Hunger Games or Divergent, Legend is a powerful start to a series that only gets better. (5 stars)
