Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold

From the mind of Alice Seabold comes a dark and tragic novel with, a thorough depiction of a young girl who gets murdered and watches her family move on from heaven.

After her murder Susie can no longer talk or be with her family. But she can still watch them from her own heaven. She watches her family struggle with her passing and look for solutions to a problem that can’t be fixed. She sees the critical decisions they make to move on while tring to help them along the way even though she really can’t.

Alice Seabold gives a very graphic description of a tragic ending of a girls live and a great discription of the new lives that must begin because of it. I found this novel to be a very interesting concept that I think most people should at least give a chance. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who cannot handle graphic things or reading about them. I would recommend this novel to anyone who likes tragedy novels that is over the age of 16.
