The book Shatter Me, by Tahereh Mafi is a dystopian novel, following Juliette a girl trapped her whole life, either by her parent's unwillingness to love her or being physically trapped in a prison fighting to survive in the damaged economy. Throughout her life, Juliette could never be touched, every time she did she would hurt someone, but it was never on purpose. There was only one person in her life that she felt somewhat connected to, a person that was by her side and would stick up for her. She thought that she would never see him again and never get the chance to actually talk to him until one day he gets thrown into her cell. Read the book to find out the rest, and if you enjoy it you can continue through the series.
